mRNA expression analysis

Strain specific analysis of RAGE gene expression in WT and B-hRAGE mice by RT-PCR. Mouse Rage mRNA was detectable in splenocytes of wild-type (+/+) mice. Human RAGE mRNA was detectable only in H/H, but not in +/+ mice. 

Protein expression analysis

Strain specific analysis of RAGE expression in WT and B-hRAGE mice by western blot. Lung were collected from WT mice and homozygous B-hRAGE (H/H) mice. Mouse RAGE was detectable in WT mice. Human RAGE was exclusively detectable in homozygous B-hRAGE but not WT mice.
